Once completed with the Gearbox Repair Process your Nord Gearbox is placed on a six hour test bench to test for leaking, overheating and other abnormalities. It is then certified with our 24 month warranty after passing all tests.

The Nord Drive Systems Company was founded in 1965 as a machine shop to produce the drive systems designed by Gunter Schlicht and GA Kuchenmeister in Bargteheide Germany. The Nord Drivesystems company had an explosion of growth worldwide after the establishment of its modernized gear manufacturing facility. The Nord Drive Systems company began producing housings, shafts and flanges in order to make gear assembly for gearboxes.
The Nord Subsidiaries had designed and installed the ability to automate production allowing Nord to become a Drive Solution Supplier in the 1980s. Nords motor factory in Italy began to bring all subsidiaries in under its brand umbrella to allow the brand to become more flexible and upgrade its production areas.
What makes Nord Gearboxes unique as a transmission solution is it allows the customers to choose different styles of gear drives for their specific line. Similarly some of the highest regarded gearboxes from nord are the Parallel Shaft Gearbox which was designed to be used in combination with high torque gearboxes like the Helical Inline Gear Motors which can push up to 230,000 LBS Per Inch.
